Founded in 2020 as the Sustainable Development and Governance Institute (SDGI) by Teimuraz Murgulia, Nastavia builds on a legacy of combining analytical rigor with technological depth. His extensive experience as former Head of the Parliamentary Budget Office and Deputy Minister in several Georgian ministries, shaped Nastavia’s results-driven and internationally oriented approach. Over the years, the company has expanded across Central Asia, the Caucasus, and beyond, working with multilateral organizations, central banks, and national agencies.
The rebranding to Nastavia reflects our evolution from a national think tank into a global advisory partner. The Nastavia logo symbolizes progress through balance: an upward green arrow for growth and advancement, and a downward green arrow for achieving greater efficiency with fewer resources.
